This New York Times article, review the crazy world of music where a 50+ year hitmaker such as Clive Davis was pushed aside. The announcement surprised many in the music industry, as Mr. Davis, who has survived several executive suite setbacks only to rise again in a career that spans five decades, seemed to be playing a hot hand. This No. 1 album for most of April was the debut from Leona Lewis, one of many divas that Davis, 76, signed up and molded. And, he’s had tremendous success with Alicia Keys and of course American Idol.
I wonder how many seniors like Clive Davis’ can make major contributions to your business. Remember, age is but a number.
