As marketing chair of the American Cancer Society of Western Pennsylvania (http://www.cancer.org), Stephen Wayhart and BrandMill introduced and delivered email marketing efforts for the Chapter’s Daffodil Days and Relay for Life campaigns. Through careful copy tests and brand image positioning efforts the Chapter realized an impressive open rate of 35% and click through rates of 14%. More importantly, the success of its email campaigns convinced the Chapter to make email marketing a key part of its integrated marketing communications.
